Down in the rocks…
There was a few waves today (yes this was taken today, didn’t get anything in time for the Friday proper!) and after having a surf myself I tried out some different angles (portrait surf shot!) for photographing the surf. Really like the abstract rough texture and framing that getting low in the rocks gives you, but it does require some patience and positioning!
wow!! After the previous snow fall, we thought that was a once in a never occurrence. But another polar blast brought snow to our back garden. Couldn’t quite believe looking out the window in the morning and seeing this!
New Plymouth lantern parade was great! Kids from lots of schools were led by a gypsy band down the main street of town…featuring a nautical theme for the lanterns. Some highlights were the pirate ship, the surprise of the clock tower blasting into life and the celebrity visit from spongebob
